Role overview

MylesPort International is recruiting on behalf of a client — a licensed Romanian recruitment partner placing international workers with employers across Romania. Romania has a sustained shortage of construction, plant and logistics labour and recruits from outside the European Union on legal, contract-based employment supported by a state-issued work permit. Romania's warehousing and distribution sector has grown rapidly around Bucharest, Ploiesti, Timisoara, Cluj and the western corridor, and recruits internationally to staff it. Warehouse roles are typically shift-based, indoors, and supported by scanners and a warehouse management system. Picking and packing is the production line of a distribution centre. Pickers work from a scanner or voice system through a pick list, collecting items by location; packers check, wrap, box, label and stage orders for dispatch. Both roles are measured on accuracy and on units processed per hour. No formal qualification is required. Employers select on accuracy, consistent pace and reliability across shifts. This is a strong entry route into Romanian logistics, with progression into replenishment, forklift duties or team leadership for those who prove themselves. Roles are released as individual job orders, each with its own employer, location, salary and start date. Key responsibilities

• Picking items accurately from a scanner, voice or paper pick list
• Navigating the warehouse by location codes and aisle sequence efficiently
• Checking picked items against the order before packing
• Packing, wrapping, boxing and labelling orders securely for transit
• Staging completed orders correctly for dispatch by route or carrier
• Maintaining the accuracy and rate targets set for the shift
• Reporting stock shortages, damaged items and location errors
• Replenishing pick faces and consumables as directed
• Keeping the pick and pack areas clean, clear and safe
• Compliance with warehouse safety rules and correct use of equipment

Candidate requirements

• Valid passport with at least twelve months validity, and a clear scan of the bio-data page
• Demonstrable experience in the trade, supported by certificates or employer references where available
• Police clearance certificate
• Able to pass the medical examination required for the Romanian work permit
• Basic English is sufficient; Romanian is not required before arrival
• Willing to relocate to Romania on a legal employment contract
• Able to work outdoors through the Romanian seasons, including cold winter conditions
• Two passport-size photographs, plus educational or trade certificates where held
• Clean immigration record with no active refusals or bans
• Available to travel once the work permit and long-stay visa are issued
