Frequently asked questions

The questions we are asked most.

Answered directly, for both sides of the table.

What type of talent does MylesPort recruit?
Skilled and semi-skilled professionals across twelve industry sectors — technical trades, manufacturing and industrial roles, logistics and warehousing, hospitality, healthcare, automotive and technical services, energy, utilities, IT and telecommunications, commercial and retail, transport and education — together with professional and white-collar appointments. Our focus is capability, not general labour.
Do you handle high-volume recruitment?
Yes. Project and volume recruitment is a core solution. Cohorts are sourced, assessed and prepared as one managed group against a common arrival schedule, so induction and onboarding happen once rather than piecemeal.
How do you assess candidates?
Identity, work history and certificate verification; practical trade testing where the role requires it; language and numeracy where relevant; and a structured competency interview against your specification. Every finalist reaches you with written assessment notes.
Can requirements be customised?
Every mandate is scoped individually — roles, skill levels, assessment criteria, readiness content, reporting cadence and commercial structure. The process stages are fixed; what happens inside them is built around your operation.
What information do you need before starting recruitment?
Role titles and headcount; skill level and any licences or certifications; work location and site conditions; target deployment date; salary, benefits and accommodation structure; employment type and contract duration; and whether work authorisation is in place or needs to be coordinated. The workforce requirement form captures all of it.
What is the recruitment timeline?
Shortlists typically follow within one to three weeks of a confirmed specification, depending on role complexity and volume. Readiness and documentation stages depend on the destination’s requirements and on external approvals, which we make explicit. Specific dates are committed in the engagement letter once the specification is fixed.
Can MylesPort support several roles simultaneously?
Yes. Multi-role mandates are run as one engagement with one named lead, one reporting cadence and a consolidated shortlist, so you are not managing several parallel processes.
What happens after submitting a workforce request?
A consultant reviews the requirement, contacts you within one business day, arranges a clarification meeting where needed, and returns a written recruitment solution with timelines and commercial terms for your approval before sourcing begins.
