Role overview

MylesPort International is recruiting on behalf of a client — a car washing and vehicle detailing operator working across several parking locations in Ajman, United Arab Emirates. The business is expanding and is appointing a photographer and social media content creator. In vehicle detailing the result is visual, and this role exists to show it. You will shoot before-and-after work, film short-form video on site, edit for social platforms and keep a steady publishing rhythm that turns finished vehicles into bookings. The package combines a monthly salary with commission linked to the business the content generates. You will work alongside the Sales & Marketing Manager and the site supervisors, planning shoots around the day's booked vehicles and capturing the standard the business wants known for. Beyond social, the same library feeds the website, proposals to corporate clients and local advertising. This suits a creator who can shoot, edit and publish independently, understands what performs on short-form platforms, and enjoys working on location rather than in a studio. The salary figure, commission structure, accommodation, transport and documentation terms are being finalised with the client and will be confirmed in writing to shortlisted candidates before any commitment is made.

Key responsibilities

• Shoot photography and short-form video of vehicle washing, detailing and finished results on site
• Capture consistent before-and-after sequences that show the standard of work
• Edit stills and video for social platforms, keeping a recognisable visual style
• Plan and maintain a content calendar and publish on a steady rhythm
• Run the day-to-day social media presence, including captions, hashtags and replies to comments
• Respond to enquiries received through social channels and pass leads to the sales team
• Track reach, engagement and enquiries generated, and report what is working
• Build and organise a reusable content library for the website, proposals and advertising
• Work with the Sales & Marketing Manager on campaigns and promotions
• Coordinate with site supervisors so shoots fit around the day's booked vehicles

Candidate requirements

• Valid passport, with a clear scan of the bio-data page
• Police clearance certificate
• Demonstrable portfolio of photography and short-form video work
• Confident with editing software for both stills and video
• Strong working knowledge of Instagram, TikTok and other short-form platforms
• Good written English for captions and customer replies
• Able to pass the pre-departure and destination medical examinations
• Self-directed, organised and able to publish consistently without supervision
• Comfortable shooting on location outdoors in a hot climate
• Own camera equipment is an advantage; full documentation requirements are being confirmed with the employer
