Qatar recruits medical practitioners internationally across hospitals, specialist centres and primary care. Practitioners are licensed by the Department of Healthcare Professions under the Ministry of Public Health, and the route runs through dataflow primary source verification, the prometric or equivalent specialty examination, and QCHP registration in the relevant scope of practice. Key responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and treat patients within your registered scope of practice
• Order and interpret investigations, and formulate management plans
• Prescribe safely and within Qatari clinical governance requirements
• Maintain accurate, timely and confidential clinical records
• Refer appropriately and coordinate with specialist colleagues
• Participate in ward rounds, on-call rotas and clinical handovers as rostered
• Communicate diagnoses and treatment options clearly to patients and families
• Follow infection prevention, patient safety and clinical audit requirements
• Supervise and support junior clinical staff where applicable
• Maintain continuing professional development for licence renewal

Candidate requirements

• Recognised medical degree (MBChB, MBBS or equivalent)
• Completed internship and valid registration with the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council, or the equivalent in your country
• Post-registration clinical experience, with the minimum set by the licensing category applied for
• Valid passport, with a clear scan of the bio-data page
• Willingness to complete dataflow primary source verification and the QCHP examination and licensing process
• Strong spoken and written English
• Valid police clearance certificate
• Able to pass the destination medical examination
• Complete documentation, including degree certificates, internship certificate, registration certificate, good standing certificate and CV
• Recognised postgraduate qualification or specialty training is a strong advantage
