Role overview

MylesPort International is recruiting on behalf of a client — a licensed motorcycle trading and last-mile delivery operator based in Doha, Qatar. The client is building a rider fleet of 100 and has issued a demand letter for Kenyan riders on employer-sponsored contracts. Riders deliver for established food and parcel aggregator platforms across Doha on company-provided motorcycles. The client sponsors the employment visa, arranges the Qatar motorcycle driving licence after arrival and provides the bike, SIM card, insurance cover and transport. Accommodation and food are provided for the first two months from arrival, or until the Qatar driving licence is issued, whichever comes first. Earnings are made up of a monthly figure in the range of QAR 1,500 to QAR 4,000 depending on completed deliveries, plus a performance incentive. Earnings begin once the Qatar motorcycle licence is obtained and the rider is onboarded onto the delivery platforms. This is a physically active, outdoor role suited to candidates who are comfortable riding for long periods in a hot climate and who want a structured, legally sponsored route into the Qatari labour market. The client has confirmed a phased intake, taking an initial group of riders followed by further groups at roughly two-week intervals, so applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and deliver food and parcel orders across assigned zones in Doha using a company-provided motorcycle
• Accept, sequence and complete delivery jobs through the aggregator platform applications on a smartphone
• Meet the daily and monthly delivery targets set by the client and the platform
• Handle customer orders carefully, confirm deliveries correctly in the application and manage cash or card collections where applicable
• Ride in full compliance with Qatar traffic law, wearing the safety kit provided at all times
• Carry out daily safety and condition checks on the motorcycle and report defects, accidents or damage immediately
• Keep the motorcycle, delivery box, SIM card and uniform clean, secure and in good order
• Maintain a professional and courteous manner with customers, restaurant partners and platform coordinators
• Attend the Qatar driving school and pass the final licence test within 60 days of arrival

Candidate requirements

• Kenyan passport valid for at least two years at the time of application
• Able to ride a motorcycle confidently in city traffic
• Willing and able to complete Qatar driving school and pass the final motorcycle test within 60 days of arrival
• Basic English for reading delivery applications and communicating with customers
• Comfortable using a smartphone and delivery or aggregator applications
• Medically fit and able to pass the pre-departure and destination medical examinations
• Clean police clearance certificate, with no active immigration bans or pending cases
• Physically able to ride for up to ten hours a day, six days a week, in high temperatures
• Prepared to commit to a two-year contract away from home
• Previous motorcycle delivery, courier or boda boda experience is an advantage but not essential
